We sell charcoal grills for terraces, courtyards and rooftops, and we tell you up front that the carton is heavy, the grill is flat-packed, and the charcoal is not in the box.

Why the honest version sells better

Charcoal grills are photographed on lawns at golden hour with the coals already glowing. Nothing in that picture tells you the carton weighs what it weighs, that you will spend forty minutes with a spanner, that the first burn smells of curing paint, or that fuel is a separate purchase. So the grill arrives and the first hour is a series of small surprises.

None of those surprises is a defect. Every one of them is something a shop could simply have said. The people who end up disappointed are almost never the ones who bought the wrong grill — they are the ones nobody warned.

So this shop leads with grate area in portions, bowl material, vent layout and shipping weight, and states the assembly and fuel position on the product page rather than in a leaflet you find after paying.

Our story

The business came out of kitchen and home appliances — the kind of shop where people bring things back and explain why. Grills were the category where the complaint was almost never about the grill. It was “it turned up in bits”, or “there was no coal in the box”, or “it smoked and smelled the first time and I thought it was broken”.

Working in Jaipur, where a lot of cooking happens on terraces and in courtyards rather than on lawns, made the second pattern clear too: people were buying 22-inch kettles for balconies where an 18-inch was the sensible maximum, because the listing sold an image instead of a footprint.

Moving online meant we could not hand someone a spanner and walk them through the build. So the specification had to do it: portions rather than inches, the assembly time, the weight of the carton, and a plain sentence about what the first burn does. The freight side taught us the rest — cartons crush at the corners, so every box goes out edge-protected, and we ask for thirty seconds of unboxing video because that clip is what wins a claim.

How we work, in practical terms

• Online only. Kavora Emporium runs entirely online, with no showroom or display yard. Consignments are dispatched from Jaipur, Rajasthan.
• Shipping. Free at ₹2,999 and above; flat ₹99 below that. Handling 1 to 3 business days, then freight 5 to 12 business days.
• Delivery. To your door at ground level, signed for by an adult. Freight crews do not carry cartons upstairs.
• Returns. 7 days from delivery on unassembled, never-fired goods in the original carton, refunded within 12 business days.
• Payment. UPI or Cash on Delivery, in Indian rupees. No cards, no PayPal, no EMI, no stored payment details.
• On arrival. Inspect the carton before signing, film the unboxing, and if anything is wrong stop assembling and tell us within 48 hours.

What we will not claim

We will not photograph a grill on a lawn and imply it fits a balcony. We will not print a cooking area the maker has not published. We will not describe outdoor rust as a manufacturing fault, and we will not offer a warranty that is not ours to give.
